How do I complete a proxy (when a representative votes)?

To submit a vote If you are representing another person or a company or an organisation you will need a proxy. You may create a proxy using the portal

The proxy holder needs to register an login to  create a proxy using the portal

Prerequisites for creating a proxy

The prerequisites for creating a proxy are:

1. You will need to register and login
2. You will need to submit a "Proof of debt" or "Proof of debt for voting purposes (informal)".
   

Creating a proxy

To create a proxy you will need to navigate to the debtor's home page and view the "Poll" tab.

1. Click "Submit Proxy".
   The proxy upload form appears.
   
   
   
2. Click "I need a proxy".
   
   Two proxy options appear:
   
   
   
   Click on the link "Download a proxy in favour of the Chairman" if you want to make out the proxy in favour of the chairperson.
   
   Click on the link "Download a proxy in favour of myself " if you want to fill out the voting options for each resolution.

You will need to print out the proxy form PDF, sign the form and upload it back to this page.

Uploading the proxy

One you have created your proxy a PDF document is created. Please complete the proxy document by selecting your voting options.

Complete the proxy form by ticking the options for "general proxy" and/or "special proxy".

Creating a proxy in favour of another person

As you will need to be registered to vote and submit a proof of debt, you cannot initiate a proxy on behalf of another person. If another person wants to attend and vote on a resolution they will need to register and link to the claim using the creditor code.
